AUTO COLLISION TECHNOLOGY I              Auto Collision Pathway
Grades:             11
Prerequisite:      Grades 10 or 11, technical math or algebra
Credits:             2
This course consists of two periods per day with instruction in all the latest refinishing techniques and custom work. Wearing proper attire, using respiratory equipment and practicing safety procedures are required.

AUTO COLLISION TECHNOLOGY II 
Grades:             12
Prerequisite:      11th Grade Auto Collision Technology I
Credits:             3
This course consists of three periods per day with instruction in the latest methods and techniques of unibody repair. Students learn high strength steels, aluminum, polymers, sectioning, and panel replacement, use of MIG procedures consisting of spot and whole vehicle painting and detailing. Students will become eligible to work in internship programs for local businesses. After classes, students will have the opportunity to take the ASE (Automotive Service Excellence Board) certification tests upon qualification with Auto Service Excellence Board. This course may allow students to earn college Tech Prep credit from the Community College of Southern Nevada.
