The Southeast Career Technical Academy will feature a thirty-two million dollar addition to our campus when two new buildings will be constructed and available to our students at the opening of the 2012-13 academic year. In one and a half years, SECTA will feature a two story building that will house our Health Sciences Program in addition to classrooms for comprehensive core subjects. Our second building will be the Commons which will house our cafeteria in addition to a large conference room for meetings and recruitment.

This is the first phase of the complete makeover of the Southeast Career Technical Academy which has one of the highest graduation rates in the Clark County School District in addition to having one of the highest pass percentages on the Nevada High School Proficiency Exams. SECTA students daily rate of attendance is over 96% and our dropout rate is .4% which is one of the best in the state of Nevada.

Students truly have the best of both worlds at the Southeast Career Technical Academy as they can utilize their career technical training to subsidize their higher education or transition to the world of work or military service. SECTA's motto is 'We Build Futures' and this very appropriate as we have one of the most dedicated staffs who provide students a very challenging educational environment.
